Hello! I'm writing a blog for the last time, and this blog will be about my English learning experience. It's a quite tedious history but also have a lot of funny moments and momos(?. At this English level "4" I don't learn language rules indeed, it's like that I've learn how to speak better and make a dialogue with another person in a better way, not the solid content of study, just how to use it with fluency. So it's a quite useful knowledge be cause it is a skill that I can domain in a conversation or a real situation on my life and not the rules for any troublesome knowledge without any use.
I'm upgrading my listening abilities and now I can recognise a song's lyrics for an example, also I can write in a better form this blogs and read with more speed some texts

Problems and what you did to solve them
A few years ago, I suffer a robe on my house. I had a new cell phone on my desk and my dad's wallet with the payment of that month. It was on january, a few days after the new year.
It was so fast, I went to the backyard for take a towel, it was on a very hot day so I wanted to take a cool shower to refresh myself. But when I return and I didn't saw my cell the idea of a shower was over.
I've try to search my cell phone, but I've saw the house door open and then I said "it was robed". My christmas present was stolen that day, and I called to the police, I've explain the facts but it doesn't work be cause with no witnesses or suspects of the crime I don't have anything to proove it.
So I felt angry and I lock up the cell phone, to let it without use, and tell to my father about my problem, my father told me that there was a problem and somehow we have to solve it.
That was the moment when my dad look for huis wallet and we after one hour of searching it we could't found it.
The problem just increase with each moment we felt more and more angrier and the sadness was growing up in us.
We try to solve the problem ask to a my dad's friend and he loaned us some money, we payed some bills and food, to pass the month. I start to work with murals and publicity for stores and a lenguage, with that works I won some money and I bought a new cell phone, a little and not very expensive because with the rest of the money we've bought merchancy for the house.

Postgraduate studies
When I applied to study Biochemistry on this university, I didn't though about what kind of post grade studies I will choose to study after my graduation, be cause it hasn't no sense, I think this is not the correct time to think about it, I don't know nothing concrete of the career, so I think that is too soon pay attention to things like that. My preferences, skills and knowledge will be increasing in the future and at this time I will have my full conscience paying attention to that thoughts.
However I have to write about what kind of things I could study in the future, in that far, far, beyond, future, where I don't know nothing about and also I have to write for what things I might consider I'll be doing in this hypothetical future.
So, I can't say stupid things like " I might consider I'll be studying or doing X thing" be cause I can't see the future and it's stupid believe in some self projections. Then, I will say, I'd like to study and work on the neuroscience area. I have good friends with the same kind of projections so, I think the best thing of the science research is the teamwork and with friends are better than work alone or with people that I don't know.
I think the neuroregeneration is an unexplored area of the biology and the work of the biochemistry can help in that area. Neurodegenerative diseases are so troublesome for the actual medicine, and if we can study how the proteins, nerves, and cells can be reanimated from a permanent inactive state we can cure diseases in the spinal tap, or invalidating diseases from accidental events, even a stroke can be completely cured with the right knowledge, so for me this area are so interesting to study in a hypothetical future. I might consider I'll be doing research and studying about proteins or clinical biochemistry, with knowledges of neuroscience and neurological anatomy and physiology. The place I'll study my post grade I don't know for now, there's so much time to decide it, but I think I can do that in this university immediately when I will be graduated. That's all I can say about this theme.

My Future Job
In a parallel future, an alternal reality, where I was'nt study Biochemistry, I decided to dedicate my life to my real passion, the graphic arts.
I always draw pictures of comics like Batman, Watchmen, Spiderman, and I'd like too much the way of the "Sand man overture", they make real art with each draw, sketch and page of their comics. So, if I can in a not very probably future dedicate my life to work like an ilustrator for a comic company like Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Vertigo, I think it will be the best job for me, I will work from Monday to Friday and weekends if it is necessary, just be cause I like to do it. However, I wont break my back or my hands or destruct my vision doing this, I will have my time to myself, for my family, friends and cats(?. So I think, I will win a good salary, like 1.000.000$ CLP (an interval). In the case of this alternal reality I decided to study graphic design or arts, I guess, to learn other techniques in the graphic arts, to be a good ilustrator I think. But, I don't decided to do this my life job be cause we are in a shitty country with no possibilities to work on the graphic novels that I like, so, I decided that the best thing I can do for now is study Biochemistry and draw like a hobby, that's a bit recomfotating for my broken spirit.
Accord to that I'm imagine in this moment, Hector Tapia García would be a moderate fat man, with personality problems and with many good friends, all of those friends and me are a the same kind of person, lonely and nerd humans without reasons to have an active social live.
So, in this future my live turns on the comics, I will be an ilustrator of comics and graphic novels, and in my free times I'd like to make tatoos in an ink store, so, I'd like to be an ilustrator cause I'm a very nerdy man and also I'm very good drawing.

The Importance of Biochemistry
Neuro chip records brain cells activity.
The research of the University of Calgary about the recording of the neuronal activity is trying to change the time lapses of the normal recordings. The current recording of the neuronal activity only for a few minutes, but with the new advances in nanotechnology and biotechnology scientists of the University of Calgary create a bionic nanochip that they introduce on the brain and then the chip starts to record the neurons activity.
We have to keep in our minds that the neurons action with electrical potentials, so, with the aproppiate technology a camera can see and record images of the electronic interactions of the neurons. At this point, scientists can't record for a long time the neuronal activity on the brain of animals and tell us how they functions occur.
The problems appear when we want observate the activity for a long time, that's no possible with the current technology,

The most memorable movie you've seen
The past year, my father talked me about a movie called "Sleepers", he told that I have to see it and as he comanded, I downloaded the movie ansd we saw it together.
The movie is based on a novel of the periodist Lorenzo Carcaterra, and it show us a cruel reality, with too much violence, crimes, violations and abuses.
The story is about four chilhood friends, who lived in Hell's Kitchen, New York, this kids, Lorenzo Carcaterra, Tommy Marcano, Michael Sullivan and John Reilly at the summer of 1967 nearly killed a man, after pulling a prank on a hot dog vendor. They assumed their crimes and went to a young jail, the Wilkinson Home For Boys as a punishment.
In that institution they've passed a lot of abuses, given by the guards of the institution. Sean Nokes, Henry Addison, Ralph Ferguson and Adam Styler. The kids were sistematically abused and raped by them. That treatments changed the kids lives and their friendship forever.
Fourteen years after they leave the Wilkinson Institute, John and Tommy, now career criminal encounter Nokes in a restaurant on Hell's Kitchen and kill him in front of witnesses.

The Best Holidays/ Concert Ever
My best holidays were in 2014, because I don't go out anytime, I wanted to spend my time with my friends, playing in the pc, play station, walking arround the city, drinking Coca-Cola or visiting other friends, so, thats pretty cool for me.
I always like to walk at the night or the evening, with a good conversation I enjoyed that activities, also I had to help to my family with the domestic tasks, in that cases I cooked lauchs and dinners many times, cause I lived with my grandma and my father, she don't cook and my father stay all day working, so I waited him every day with food, and we went out for a drink or a juice and watch TV.
The life was simple, without problems or preocupations. I that vacations I made a quest with my friends, we had to walk 8 kilometers with jeans, a shirt, sweater, security shoes, and a coveralls over the other clothes, we were half-dead, dehidrated, tired, and very hungry, so after that stupid activity we went out to eat pizza and tocomples, after that we walked for 2 hours arround the city, it was so funny, I love that times.
The most incredible concert I went was the concert of Dream Theater in 2013, at the Along For The Ride Tour, the second tour with the drummer Mike Mangini, it was amazing, the band played new songs like The Enemy Inside or the masterpiece called Illumination Theory, that song lasts 22 minutes, and I like the long songs, so I was very excited for listen them and enjoy the music. But, I think the most incredible part of the concert was at the end, when the band played songs from the album Metropolis pt.2: Scenes From A Memory. That album is amazing in the construction of the lyrics telling a complete history of the reencarnation, murder, love and obsession, a incredible piece that I enjoyed with the same passion as the band played each song.
Dream Theater is a band from E.E.U.U. and have an alignment with incredible musicians like John Petrucci (guitars), John Myung (bass), Jordan Rudess (keyboards), Mike Mangini (drums) and James LaBrie (vocals). The most precciate albums of the band are Images and Words, the single EP A Change of Seasons.

A conutry I'd like to visit
Well, I'd like to visit, but more than anyone I'd like to visit Norway and Denmark, nordic countries are a beutiful places to stay, and visit, and live and everything that I could imagine.
These countries have a very cold weather, spring and summer are nice, not hot not cold, so is a very comfortable weather to go out, to stay at home, to know new places and atractions of these countries.
Denmark is the happiest country in the world, it has one of the better quality of life in the world. An 80% of the country runs with eolic energy, the street are clean everyday and every time, the roads gives priority to bicicles and the walkers, so in the country we will not found very much cars.
I think if I can visit Denmark i would go to Copenhagen, the Rosenborg gardens, or I will do trecking, the country has an amazing geography, and a beatiful organization in the cities, so every place is a pleasure to the eyes, you can feel it through your body and spirit, I think it's like the peace of mind but you can feel that pacefull in all your body(?.
I think the better place to live or study in Denmark is every place, the entire country is awesome, is beatiful, so I think I'll be happy in everywhere I stay there.
I just want to go to Denmark, the country I'd like to visit.

My blogging experience
The truth is that I've never done a blog entrance or published things like I do on this class, because I'm not much a social person, not on the network or social webs and also not much on the face to face. I preffer talk about myself in a personal way, but I do this not cause of fear at the publics or fear to the people, I think is just quite better keep somethings about me just for me.
By the way on this class I had the opportunity of share my thinking way with people that I never know previously, talking about differents things in a friendly form. I think this type of comunication and information share cannot be if were not using this web plataform to do this. Then this class and the blogging experience was so funny and interesting, but also sometimes I was bored cause the inspiration to writte not come to me.
Now I can see that my writting skills have increased from the baseline of this class, I can read and write much better than how I can do it at beggining, at the same time it's more simple for me to share my personal vision about things in public or private, so, I have to thank to this class for giving that social skills or increased that social skills.
I would like to include at this blogging job more variated themes to write, we write about personal experiences, science but I think also we could write about our prefferences in different things.

In the future... I'm think about how I will write, and think about if I still write blogs entrances or social publications on this type of plataforms. But in the possibility that I have to write in the future I think I will be writting about music, my favorites bands and songs, or about funny anecdotes, I also think that always is interesting write about the sadness or problems that happened in our lives, but this is problematic because other people have problems too and is not fair share my problems with the, I guess. So, I think I could write about videogames, music, literature, whatever, it doesn't matter if I can feel happy or relaxed doing this.

From the invisible to the visible world and back
In the microbiology the air tightness is a fundamental
parameter, be cause the microrganisms in a sample are too much delicate, and an
exposition to the common ambient can be dangerous, cause of this reason is
neccesary in a microbiology lab, have an Autoclave.
The
autoclave is a device that we can use to close hermetically a sample with a
bacteria colony for an example. The use of this device is so important in a
investigation and it is very rare not have one.
There
are physical, chemical, and biological indicators that can be used to ensure
that an autoclave reaches the correct temperature for the correct amount of
time. If a non-treated or improperly treated item can be confused for a treated
item, then there is the risk that they will become mixed up, which, in some
areas such as surgery, is critical.
Chemical
indicators on medical packaging and autoclave tape change color
once the correct conditions have been met, indicating that the object inside
the package, or under the tape, has been appropriately processed. Autoclave
tape is only a marker that steam and heat have activated the dye. The marker on
the tape does not indicate complete sterility. A more difficult challenge
device, named the Bowie-Dick device after its inventors, is also used to verify
a full cycle. This contains a full sheet of chemical indicator placed in the
center of a stack of paper. It is designed specifically to prove that the
process achieved full temperature and time required for a normal minimum cycle
of 134 °C for 3.5–4 minutes.
So the autoclave is an amazing instrument that sometimes the people forget, or don't know nothing about it, if we keep in mind we may have other uses and applications for it. I like to think about the instruments that have a normal use but in the bottom of that instrument we can found a lot of things that we never could imagine, so keep in mind on this day and every day!.
The most enjoyable subject this far...
At this moment the most enjoyable subject in the career is chemical laboratory techniques, a practical subject in that we learn what their name says, chemical laboratory techniques. In this subject we have a theoretical class and late a practical laboratory about the class of that day. So, in this subject we learned different techniques that help us in the chemical laboratory job.
Commonly used techniques like destilation, fitration, reduced pressure filtration, volume and density measurements are just a few of the things that we do in this subject. To do this things we have to use different materials like different volumetric, erlemeyer and kitasato's flask, beakers, refrigerants, Bunsen burner, analytical and precission balances. All of these things can be done under the tutelage of our teachers. I like this subject because I can do a practical lab job, is the most similar subjet to the real laboratory subject, and also contains fundamental and basic concepts that we have to use for the rest of our life (if we have to job after our jubilation). So, I think this subject is too much interesting and important in our scientific formation.

Person or Expert you admire
Think about a person that I admire sometimes is very difficult for me, I admire my father and my grandmother, for the efforts that they do for me, but this blog isn't about my family, is about a person or expert that I admire in the field of my career, and this person is Francisco Varela.
Francisco Varela was a Chilean biologist who investigate the neuroscientific and cognitive sciences, bringing them the dialog between the sciences and buddhism.
Varela was born in 1946 in Santiago in Chile, he completed the secundary school at the Liceo Aleman del Verbo Divino in Santiago. After this he studied medicine at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, but for no longer, after that he graduate in Biology at the University of Chile and later he obtained a Ph.D in biology at Harvard University. While the dictatorial government of Augusto Pinochet he was exiled with his family for 7 years. During this time he was on United States, later he return to become a professor of Biology.
While the 70s Varela became in a Tibetan Buddhist at the point that he studied with Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche a Nepalese master of meditation and higher tantras.
In 1986 he settled in France where he at first taught cognitive science and epistemology at the École Polytechnique, and neuroscience at University of Paris. He founded the Mind and Life Institute with Adam Engle in 1987. And from 1988 until his dead in 2001 he lead de CNRS (Centre National de Recherche Scientifique).
Varela's strong philosophical influences still remaining with his teacher and fellow Humberto Maturana. Both of this Biologyst studied on this University, both of this scientifics are experts to admire, in many fields. The autopoiesis theory, the cognitive science work, the Mind and Life Insitute and the harmony between Buddhism and Biology, all those things have my entire admiration.
Varela died in 2001 in Paris of Hepatitis C, his professor, Humberto Maturana still
researching and giving oral presentations about his biologyc philosophy.

About pets, love and friendship
Well, I have now two pets, a dog and a cat, but I always love cats, a cat is a pet that can't trust in you if you're have a bad presence with them, but if you love it and take care of them, they always love you.
Four years ago, my father gave me a little cat, who had grey fur and white paws. I still remember the first day when this small hairball hides in my bedroom, under my bed, afraid of the new house far away from his mother and brother, with a new family, my family. And this small thing was called Ñaño, and Ñaño was my pet for four years, we loved him, he was the most humble and courageous cat that I never seen. A great cat, a great friend, a member of the family, I remember every day his face and his meows, hungry for food, he was always hungry, for food or love. I always think if I was a good friend for him, and also I think if he understood when we said him the too much love that we keep on him. Now I'm crying while writting, since a month ago aprox. Ñaño don't return to my house, no more, I miss him, my father too, and we hope to see our friend one last time. I want to know what happened to him, but I know that's impossible now and it's very sad for me.

A photograph you like
A photograph contains many things, this one is very important to me, cause there I am with my best firends, Mario (the thin guy) and Nicolás (the fat guy with me). This one is very special because since we where friends everey so often we go out to eat or watch a film, specially with Mario, Nicolás went to study at the Catholic University of the North in Coquimbo, Mario continues his studies in the Federico Santa María University on Viña del Mar, and I study in the University of Chile on Santiago., so we decided different things in different places, and it´s so difficult to see them now, thats why is so important for me the last time that I saw them. The photo was taken by Mario,at the weekend of Holy week(? this year (2016). That day we went out to eat sushi and after this Mario and I went to see Batman vs Superman, after the movie ends for error I made spoiler to a group of fans whose went to see the movie too xD, in that moment I feel very bad, but also it give us a lot of laughs. Another anecdote of that day is when Mario and I were in line to buy the pop corn and driks, the pop corn's girl forgot to mark the paybill, and we use it to obtain a doble pop corn and driks xD. That wasn´t a great day, that was an epic day.

About books and films
It is very hard for me to say "that's my favorite film" or "that's my favorite book", be cause anybody have just one preference in this topics. But everyone have a book o film in a higher place than other.
Of course, I have a favorite book, and I think that book is "Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe". This book is a compilation of supernatural, fantastic and misterious stories written by Edgar Allan Poe. I think this book is wonderful be cause Poe it's a great narrator, the way he tells the stories and his descriptiveness it's so fascinating. When I read "The Black Cat", "The Crow", "Ligeia", "The Fallen of the House of the Usher", "The Pit and the Pendulum", "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" or the great storie of "The Tale-Tell Heart" my mind blows and my imagination recreate the stories each detail, one by one. I think the Poe's genius to tell a tale is comparable to the chilean writter Baldomero Lillo, other amazing writter. By the way, I really think that if you read this book you will have an extraordary experience.
But, this post isn't just for my favorite book xD, also I have to talk to you about my favorite film. I have many favorite films, like Watchmen, The Lord of the Rings, The Crow or The Shawshank Redemption, but my favorite film is "Whiplash". This film is about of the history of Andrew Neiman, a student of music in the Shaffer's Consevatory, Andrew is a drummer who sacrifices family, the love of his girlfriend, his entire life for the opportunity to play drums in the Studio Band, in this band the professor Terrence Fletcher will inspirate a deep hate on Andrew with an epic phrase "¡¡THIS IS NOT MY FUCKING TEMPO!!", and also gives the opportunity to play in a great stage of Jazz concerts, the suffering and sacrifice of Andrew will have a great reward when in the end of the film play an amazing drum solo in the song named Caravan, it's a great film, with great actors, and a great script. Just see it, you will love it, and also is possible that you will love me xD.

Your favorite piece of technology
If you think on a piece of technology inmediatly comes on your mind aa thousand of things like cell phones, smartphones, play station, xbox, cars, smart TVs or computers. But I think in other things, gadgets that the entire world use every day and now live in a complete oblivion. I'm talking about an instrument who have a vital importance in our lifes, but admit it it's embarassing for the people, that gadget, it's the higienic paper, yes the higienic paper, it's simple, useful for many purposes, all people have used it almost one time at the week.
I cannot imagine a world without the higienic paper, we all need the higienic paper, is a basic and very important piece of our lifes, if this magic paper doesn't exist we have to clean our asses with vine leafs? nettle leafs? sandpaper? I dont think so, just imagine what you will do in a world without it. When you go to the toilet and there's no sign of paper in the room, your heart begins to acelerate and thousands of thoughts about what you have to do in that moment comes around your head, a sacrifice is required, your hand? your clothes? a stocking? This is when the higienic paper comes to our minds and to our hearts, are you still thinking the higienic paper is a bad gadget? I'm not sure about that, for me, the higienic paper is a vital piece of technology.

Why did you choose your career?
When I was at the primary school, I was dreamed of becoming a paleotologyst, an architect, a psichologist, and many other things that I can't remember now. As the time marches on, I discovered my great drawing habilities and I thought that's will be my profession.
During school my drawing and mathematics habilities was increased and I thought that the career of my life will be the architecture. But in the highscool I was interested on the sciencies, especially on the biology and chemistry. I had many problems on the physics, and I still believe that my humanist spirit is strong, but the science is my election for now and forever.
When I had to decide the career to study at the university, I had many options but I was sure that Biochemistry will be the career that I want to follow in my life.
For now my experience at the university was very interesting and too much funny, the Biochemist profession needs a lots of knowledge in many themes of the sciece. Not just the Biology and Chemistry, Medicine and Physic, a Biochemist is an integral scientific.
In the future I like to investigate in the Toxicology or the Neuroscience areas, the Clinical Biochemistry is an area that I like too, and have the knowledge in this areas is my objective on the future.

Getting to know each other
A new beggining
In the start I will talk to you about a few important moments in my life. Héctor Tapia G. was born in San Fernando, Chile, my father knew my mother in a super market, they get married in 1996 and in finally I was born on July 18th. I lived with my parents until 2 years old, after this my mother left my father and me. However my father and my grandmother raised me since that moment.
I studied in the Olegario Lazo Baeza school, in my natal city, San Fernando, until the 8°th grade of the primary. After this I went to study at the Neandro Schilling Lyceum, in my years at the Lyceum I made many of my best friends. After the PSU test I decided to study Biochemistry at the Universidad de Chile.
My life has had many problems, but I have always gone ahead. I like to waste my time with music, drawing, eating or just talking with friends. The simple things are the best to enjoy.
